RDE PEOC
Murch and Baker have carried out works at the RDE hospital for the past 2O years on various projects. One distinct project involved the replacement of five operating theatre Air Handing Units, associated pipework, ductwork, BMS and Commissioning. A two-day shutdown to change from the temporary AHU to the new system proved challenging, but good programming and coordination ensured things ran smoothly.
Derriford CL4
Murch and Baker were appointed to carry out the full mechanical refurbishment of a Cath Laboratory & ancillary areas in the centre of Derriford Hospital on level 06. Installation of new ventilation including 2no of air handling units, BMS, domestic services, heating works, medical gas & clinical Sanitaryware all completed under tight restraints.
Mount Gould Hospital
Beauchamp Centre, Mount Gould hospital was a refurbishment project of the ground floor of an existing building, comprising of new LTHW heating system, domestic water services, drainage, new sanitary ware, ventilation, air conditioning and BMS controls. A fast-paced Programme made the project challenging however, working closely with the main contractor we were able to achieve the completion date.
