Cross Creek House ASHPs
Requested by a private client to de-carbonise a substantial existing dwelling from oil to air source heat pump technology. Murch and Baker carried out heat loss calculations from surveys and provided the client with cascaded R32 air source heat pumps to replace an aging oil-fired boiler system. This was integrated with the houses existing heat emitter system & smart controls.
Ground Source Heat Pumps
We have been involved in numerous projects where we have supplied and installed GSHPs as part of a retrofit or new build project. We can adapt to the situation laying ground arrays to carrying out bore hole works.
Marine Biological Association
Murch and Baker were successful in securing a bespoke Water Source Heat Pump project at MBA Plymouth. The innovative project combined sea water with a water cooled VRF system to provide AC through ceiling cassettes in the new labs. Supply and extract ventilation was also provided via a roof mounted Air Handling Unit. Other alterations included heating, domestic services and fume cupboard works.
